The Smithsonian National Museum of African American History & Culture was established in 2016 on September 24th. This four storeyed museum entirely exhibits the documented African American life, culture and history. This state-of-the-art building is a spectacular architecture and houses stunning artifacts that are awe-inspiring. The museum highlights various aspects of the African-American walk of life. The museum showcases the African American struggle against slavery, their civil rights movements, their celebrations upon achieving success and much more through their collection. You will want to pay a 2nd visit to the museum to be able to cover their entire collection. The museum is flooded with visitors everyday and witnesses long queues to enter the museum. This pushed them to introduce the timed-passes, which although free, get over very soon. It is prudent to book tickets well in advance since the same-day tickets get booked in a giffy.
