  • Haven't been in a while and was happy to find a new screening and ticket checking process. And they now serve beverages! The venue is fantastic, intimate and good acoustics. Lots of stairs, so be prepared with good shoes.

  • great synagogue with various services. Has good shows and book signings. has young professional group as well. And children's services.

  • Wow what an amazing place to see a show. I went to see Beth hart, and she was fantastic. The place is really a church. You sit in pughs to watch the show. The acoustic are amazing and really carry the voice and instruments through the church They offer plenty of adult drinks and give you these near cups to use that are reusable. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you have a chance to see a show there, do it!

  • One of the most unique venues we have ever attended. A block from the Gallery metro station right at Chinatown (so lots of great food nearby). Normal security wand check and bag check. Staff all super friendly. Venue is pretty, and yep you are in a synagogue during on pews! Every seat is good but definitely some poles could block your view, and some of the balcony seats could be farther back than ideal, so wouldn't hurt to arrive a little early. Seating is up a flight of stairs from the bathroom (plus another flight to the balcony) so plan on some stairs. Venue is pretty and lighting is wonderful and intimate. Sound is good, although tended a little to the loud and echoy. They had a bar serving beverages in plastic cups with lids. No food (but plenty outside in the vicinity). Overall a great venue and would definitely go back.

  • Amazing place for those looking to learn more about the Jewish faith and practice. The people are incredibly friendly and open and they welcome anyone of any background. I have attended events, classes, shabbat and high holiday services. They have a variety of classes that are reasonably priced for those in their 20s and 30s.
