The Gibson Reviews & Ratings
Loved it! Super classy, hidden away little speakeasy. Totally nondescript from the outside - no signage or anything which is part of the excitement. The back patio was great on a warm night and the drinks are worth the price! Delicious and strong enough to do the job. Waitress was fun and helpful but it wasn't crazy busy when I was there either.
Usually a great experience but on the day I went there was limited EVERYTHING drinks, food, space. Must've caught them on a bad day
Went to The Gibson for an company event (Mixology), learned a great deal on the history of the cocktail and other spirits, it was amazing. Staff was exemplary in ever manner, drinks were top-notch, and the atmosphere terrific. Just a cool place to visit.
Great cocktails and food in a pretty generous space. Pay attention to the address otherwise this speakeasy themed bar is easy to miss.
The Gibson has lost its mojo! I have been to the Gibson many times before and was there recently after a couple of years. We were pretty excited to order their seasonal cocktails. When our drinks came, they were devoid of character and the flavor was on par with cocktails mixed at any bar where cocktails are not the specialty. One of the drinks was so flavorless that we literally mixed it with the other cocktail, to spark some life into it. Not something I would expect at a speakeasy, that's been around for a long time.
