Verizon Center Reviews & Ratings

  • LOVE the renovations! The new screens are so big and clear! I still love going to caps games, even if I might have to sell a kidney to pay for tickets. Great food and drink selection throughout the arena and friendly staff to help. Also a great concert venue. The convenience of the metro can't be beat and there's quite a selection of bars and pregame spots.

  • Capital One arena is always a good time! Expect a lot of people and be prepared to spend a lot of money! If you come hungry or thirsty you will easily spend more than $20 on a simple burger, fries, and soda. Beers are $13 and up and "exotic" food and beverage are $16 and up! Parking is best done off site for a medium fee or just Metro in and walk the block to the main entrance.

  • Great hocket venue with good production values and atmosphere. They do a good job of keeping the fans engaged and entertained. Also, the tickets are reasonably priced for Caps games. Restrooms are somewhat sparse though. You can park in one of the garages within a 5 min walk and it costs $10.

  • I love that they now have a few food stands that rotate out . It's great to see a better variety of food choices. On the down side, the sound system has gotten worse. I thought they just spent oodles of money to upgrade it, but tonight I couldn't understand a single word that was broadcast in the arena. Luckily they also displayed all announcements in print on the huge new viewing board. It has great definition, and I liked getting to see more statistics. On another board, they displayed scores from other games periodically. I would have liked that better if they displayed the names of the teams rather than the teams' logos, but perhaps they will get enough feedback and change it.

  • Good hockey venue. Mediocre food. (It's an arena after all). Jazz is very good at his job. So is Diane. Can't say the same for everyone there, but that may be true in many places
