A tastefully done hotel that is clearly among the best in the area. Located right in the middle of the most happening place in DC. Just a block or two from the White House and within 10 minutes distance from nearly all attractions in DC. The hotel lobby has lots of seating and offers beautiful view of the floors below through the central atrium. Kids would love the swimming pool and the gym is very large and provides everything anyone may need. Rooms are normal sized and beautifully done with light tones. Obviously on the higher end of cost but justified given the location, convenience, and quality.
I used the friend and family discount, we were 4 to occupy the room that was tiny. I requested double beds, they were ridiculously small. We requested bigger beds and they switched us for a king size plus a sofa bed. We didn't switch back. I've been there before my friend has high guest status there and for herself she had a king size bed that didn't look as small as the one we had. Hallways and Rooms are well decorated.
This is a great place to stay while in the DC area. Staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean and quiet. Only wish the shuttle service was more timely. Excellent otherwise. And will stay here next time in DC.
Hotel is beautiful. Great location. Staff is polite and attentive. Rooms are quite small and underwhelming. Double beds are smaller than less expensive properties. No free WiFi even for Marriott rewards members. Overall a good experience, but could be better considering the supposed caliber of the sub-brand.
Great location, beautiful views and friendly staff. I am normally a business traveler but this was a family vacation. The front desk gave my 7 year old a fidget spinner when we checked in. He was over the moon.
