With breathtaking views in every direction, the Waterperry Gardens is truly a delight to visit. Flowers, ponds, trees, shrubs, bushes, lawns, it has everything one expects from a garden, and more. Complete with nurseries, orchards, a plant sales centre and a tearoom, this is a garden like no other you have seen. A walk around this tranquil place enables you to meditate and clear your mind. The Museum of Rural Life, Waterperry House and the church of St Mary the Virgin are few of the other attractions at this place. Coach parties and group visits are welcome here, though make sure to pre-book if you are more than 20 members. Guided tours are available on request and are a great way of learning about the gardens. There are various courses offered here as well, from garden photography to green roof to garden design. With different colours painting the landscape in different seasons, the Waterperry Gardens is an all-year destination.

Waterperry Gardens Reviews & Ratings
What a charming place. Whether you like gardens or just need a haven of peace, this is a joy to visit. Lots of different zones to stroll around and chill out. We spent hours there - it's enormous. Worth every penny. Loved it.
Very pleasant spacious gardens, with a number of secluded areas where one can lose oneself in a book, listen to birdsong by a stream or take one's toddlers for a safe ramble in beautiful natural surroundings, some of which are canopied by mature trees. There's also a cafe and a shop where one can buy plants or gifts. Well worth a visit
Stunning gardens to visit, especially when an event is being held there. Sadly no more art in action but I live in hope it might one day come back. It was the best show of the year without question.
Beautiful wheelchair accessible gardens. The staff were very helpful and gave my father a mobility scooter. The garden centre was well sticked with good quality plants and nice gifts. The small museum was very interesting. The murals inside the main house are stunning and not what you would expect when looking at the outside.
Waterperry gardens are beautiful and in summer the famous border well stocked with delphiniums is worth seeing. On this occasion we were attending 'Handmade in Oxford' .It compared poorly with Art in Action. Although the work on display was beautiful there was too little of it. The exhibitors were crammed into marquees which became unbeatable hot. Friends who also attended agreed it was poor value for money
