Bertha Lake, tucked away in the mountains and reflecting the surrounding lush greenery, is a picturesque gem not known to many. You can hike along Upper Bertha Falls and Bertha Lake Trail to reach the lake. This out and back trail is of around 10 kilometers and has an elevation gain of 550 meters making it moderately difficult for inexperienced hikers. It easily takes half a day to complete the hike. So, carry enough water and snacks while visiting this area. The best time to take in the beauty of Bertha Lake is from April to October. On-leash dogs are also allowed here.
