Surfari Joe's Indoor Wilderness Water Park Reviews & Ratings
Me and my boyfriend took our son to what we thought was going to be an enjoyable time at the water park.. other than our son having a good time, that was the only thing enjoyable. Let’s just say cleanliness doesn’t seem like a priority AT ALL. The bathrooms were disgusting. No staff we’re watching out for anything. Kids diving in the pool and running around like animals. A person could of been drowning and nobody would know! No supervision what so ever. How scary! Little pebbles in certain areas of the floor of the lazy river. Water temps were terrible. Walls of the pool piled with grime. This place needs some help! Won’t be wasting my money here again.
Stayed two nights for our daughter's birthday and was very pleased. Before we arrived I saw the bad reviews and was a little unsure but was very pleasant, good customer service, room was nice, breakfast was good. Our daughter enjoyed the water park for hours. It was a great experience.
Nice small water park for kids. This was 2nd time going and we probably will not go back. This park is connected to the hotel, but is technically separate from the hotel. The slides are not on during most weekdays, but the rest of the park is. Two negatives this visit. First, park was not as clean during last visit. I get it. It happens. The second thing was a major problem. I called to confirm park would be open and available during the week. I had 3 young kids in tow. It was raining. It was the high season. Well...we were asked to leave because there was a private party. No advanced notice. I even called ahead. Boy, what a let down. The prior visit was great. This one during our family vacation sucked. The room was a disappointment as well, but that is not a factor for this review only on the water park.
Not bad for the size. It was fun for a short time. waterfall hot tub very cool. employees were nice. Small arcade. I love skeeball too
First time visiting on a "session pass" that was very reasonably priced! Great for kids because it's not too big & yet there's enough to tire them out! Very pleased that the major water areas were warm enough to enjoy the entire visit. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because the actual toddler area had cold water so we had to go visit the larger areas regularly to warm our 3 year old up. And the older kids playing in the toddler section were not following rules or being supervised so one kicked my daughter in the face going down the slide right behind her. And there were other close calls with kids running over her when they shouldn't have been. There were not nearly enough tubes or toddler life vests to go down the big slide without waiting like a hawk for someone to give up one that they had finally got their fill of. Lastly, we arrived ready to play, so the lack of changing areas was a big shock when we were ready to get dry & leave. Still a great visit & worth the cost if you're looking for a clean enough water filled day! If they warmed the toddler area water & got 20 more tubes & I had brought my own toddler life vest, it would have been 5 stars for sure!
