If you’re looking for a place you can be off the grid but not be in a totally primitive experience, this is the place. You still have some amenities, but are in a more private and secluded setting. We love swimming in the lake, fishing, and using the canoes. The temperature at the lake and the breeze make it so much more comfortable. And you’ll catch one of the best sunsets around.

This is a basic state park. One mile long walking trail that is a loop. There’s camping but it’s only for groups and the swimming is only for those who are camping. Very quiet, almost deserted feel to it.

Great family park. It is a great get away from city life. The park is very clean

It's a bit hard to find a trail from the parking space. However, very friendly park rangers. Please don't hesitate to ask them. Nice place to kayaking, smooth water.
