Known as the center of the cultural life of Wellsville, David A. Howe Public Library features a huge collection of 110,300 items and is the largest public library in Allegany County. The items stored in the library include the artifacts related to the local history, books, magazines, newspapers, educational DVDs and more. Various educational and cultural programs are also offered by David A. Howe Public Library to increase the awareness about the region’s history.
