Madame Sherri Forest Reviews & Ratings
This is a nice pathway for walking , there are two trails, we traveled mostly on the summit trail further up. Nice medium hike. About a 2 mile circle. What's nice about this path are the house ruins at the beginning of the trail. Great for pictures, picnic , and candids.
I surprised my husband and our boys by bringing them here on our wedding day. We took pictures here right after we got married June 22, what a perfect day it was...to get here it's just a short ride off the main highway and just a very short easy walk over a bridge into the woods to the staircase that goes no where. We can't wait to go back. You'll love it, such a neat find.
I love this place especially in the fall. Sometimes you will walk in on a photo shoot or a wedding party lol yes it has happened to us. We had to wait around until they were done so we could take pictures with the stairs
What an amazing place! The ruins of the house and the history provided on the info boards is well thought out and helps you imagine what the house might have been like in it's heyday. Easy walk great for kids and those of us not used to hiking. Will visit again.
My kids and I drove 3 hours for this hike and it didn't disappoint. The road to the trail is a bit rocky and muddy but that didn't deter us and I am so glad we continued. The views are stunning and the castle is simply beautiful. Trail is more intermediate in some places but we moved the challenge! We intend to go again next time we are in the area!
