Matt Molloy's Reviews & Ratings
Very fun Pub for a tourist! We arrived a little too early and it was dead (20:00). It was, however, slow enough that a bartender brought down the two Grammy awards won by the band that played or plays there. At 21:30 two bands were playing and the Pub was packed with a great mix of locals and tourists. There were more than enough locals to make this feel like a true Irish Pub experience to a tourist from the US.
Very nice.. Music Session very good. Staff friendly..lovely old bar..
Irish pub with live Irish music most nights. Music in the back room. Good atmosphere. I was there on a very wet and windy Wednesday night in March. Not exactly high tourism season. But the pub was Busy from 9pm on. More than 50% of customers were tourists. Mostly American. But some French and I also spoke to a Canadian. Friendly pub. Worth a visit. Drink not overpriced.
Staff are attentive and good spirited, the crowd is relaxed and also lively at the same time. A good mix of locals and tourists. Pint is lovely (Guinness) and music is a plus. Well worth a visit.
Great traditional Irish pub and it was hoping on Saturday. Great little alcoves, live traditional Irish music of the highest order. Would definitely recommend a visit. Really enjoyed it.
