Claphams Clock Museum is a unique place to visit in Whangarei. From ancient clocks that were based on sun, sand, and water to the modern clocks that use the latest technology, it has everything under one roof. You will also get to see some bizarre ones here. This collection originally belonged to Archibald Clapham who sold his collection in 1961 to the local council. It has been growing ever since. With the collection of more than 2,000 clocks today, this museum is proud to be the largest of its kind around.
