Langley Whale Centre Reviews & Ratings
Came for the museum, stayed for the town. This little museum has a bunch of interesting information and hands on for both children and adults. The staff was very pleasant and very knowledgeable. We learned a great deal there. 4 and 6 year old enjoyed it. Again, you can't beat how much hands on things they have and how much you can learn in one place. The whole town is absolutely quaint and worth a day trip.
This shop seems to be a hybrid of sorts. They have a great selection of art, toys and books. They also gave interesting artifacts, videos and other informational items. An interesting place for adults and children.
The whale center was very informative and cool to go to. The staff was so friendly and met us at the door. We loved learning about the whales in the area. The kids area was filled with things my son could play with and learn from.
I want to like this place and support their mission to help whales. The volunteer staff were knowledgeable and friendly. It is not very big--a room and a half--and the exhibits and gift shop are mixed together. So if your kids like to ask for stuff, set expectations before you go in!
It's educational but also entertaining. Much can be gained from a visit, while not spending too much time. Situated easily in Langley for return trips and great gift shop!
