For those who love cycling, the designation of State Route 525 and Highway 20 offers itself as a Scenic Isleway to seduce the drivers and cyclists on the main roads to enjoy the views along the picturesque waterside roads. You can also choose to ride through the south Whidbey at Putney Woods, on Lonelake road and Saratoga Woods Preserve on Saratoga road outside of Langley. Bird watching is a famous activity pursued here. Whidbey is blessed with a beautiful and varied sea life making it a haven for scuba diving. Some of the best diving spots here are Deception Pass, Ebey’s Landing, Keystone Underwater Park and the Langley Tire Reef at the Langley Marina.
