The Cowboy Town, with a variety of activities like horseback riding, hiking, canoeing and fishing, will be the perfect destination to explore on a weekend or holiday. You will be welcomed by healthy and cheerful horses. The guides are cheerful and friendly and will accompany you through the journey telling you bits about the area and its history. They also take care of your safety as you ride, however, the horses too are well-behaved. After the ride, you can go for canoeing or fishing at the lake. The live music and the comedy show with fresh delicious lunch will be a great experience.

A Cowboy Town Reviews & Ratings

  • My father owned A Cowboy Town and it really was a wonderful place to grow up. Living there really made my childhood an adventure.

  • Cowboy town gave everything I thought it would. I've lived in Nashville for over 20 years, and this was just a good time.. Thanks y'all.

  • Great people, couldn't ask for any better people!

  • I took my family here for a day of fun and horseback riding. We were so impressed. the property was beautiful. The horses were very tame and easy to ride. The kids had so much fun canoeing, fishing and our picnic! the staff were terrific!

  • Went here 9-8-2013 with an all day pass and horse ride. The entire area was completely run down, the listing said there was camping, gun shows, fishing, music and more and none was there. It was simply a saloon and barn. There was canoeing available but the boats were not made for that they were actually made for fishing and both had leaks. Additionally there were only two oars per boat which is clearly only enough for one person to get on. The lake was tiny and disgusting. You couldn't even see through the water. Not to mention there were snapping turtles. The guide for the horse ride was very rude and was not knowledgeable at all. I am an experienced rider and she wanted to act as if she knew everything there is to know about horses and to be honest, she didn't know anything. They also decided to give the two inexperienced people the difficult horses, which makes no sense - the guides should be on the difficult horses if anyone. Those two had trouble the whole time, one horse started running and almost threw that person off and the other would not listen to any commands and continued running into the horse in front which almost got the rider kicked in the face. The trails were very dirty, the horse feces CLEARLY is never cleaned up, which doesn't make the experience too fun in the blazing sun baking the poop. The trails are also awful. It was very muddy and was either going up or down hill for the majority of the time which is not good for inexperienced riders at all! I was very disappointed in my experience and wish I had saved my money for another activity. Unfortunately one star was the lowest review I could give because I wouldn't even give them a star.
