The Long Branch Recreation Area is a rustic campground located below the Center Hill Dam built on the Caney Fork River. There are sixty RV and tent campsites equipped with electrical hook ups. The necessary amenities include fresh running water for drinking, flush system toilets, showers, dumping station and laundry service. Each of the campsites can accommodate up to six people and two vehicles. The River offers excellent opportunity for fishing the Brown and Rainbow Trouts and there is a fish cleaning station where you can clean, skin and cut them. You can also go for canoeing or boating in the river or hiking along the Buffalo Valley Nature Trail. There is a picnic shelter and a number of playgrounds equipped with Basketball and Volleyball courts.
