The highlights of the Bruce’s Caves Conservation Area are the unique cave and rock formations that provide an excellent opportunity for photography. Along the face of the escarpment, you will find numerous shapes of caves and rocks, some of which are as high as three and four-storey buildings. The formations are the result of the wave action of the post-glacial Algonquin Lake about seven or eight thousand years ago. While hiking along the wooded region, you will find rock talus, caves, swamp areas, hardwood forestry, Niagara escarpment and also access the Bruce trail.
