Wichita Falls has a humid subtropical climate with hot summers and cold winters. Rainfall is prevalent all through the year, and there are no dry months in particular. Temperature is around 18 – 20 degree Celsius on an average.
Winter: December To February are the coldest months of the year. Snowfall is to be expected during this period as the temperatures can sometimes drop down below 0 degree Celsius.
Spring: The temperature starts increasing to a comfortable 15 degree Celsius in the months of March and April.
Summer: May to September is the summer season and temperatures are usually pretty hot during these months. Though rainfall is receiver year-round, a major chunk falls in the summer months, thus making the weather hot and humid.
Autumn: October and November bring down the temperature gradually to signal the beginning of winters. The weather is very pleasant and sometimes a little too chilly at night.
Spring and Autumn seasons are the best times to visit Wichita Falls. The weather is excellent and rainfall is not too much to disrupt any fun. Some people also prefer to travel to Wichita Falls during the summers and winters so as to skip long lines and high hotel rates.
