Owned by a local family, the Cox farm has been providing fresh produce to the city since 1926. Locals come to the farm to hand pick vegetables and fruits before paying for them. Currently, the farm grows watermelons, cantaloupes, tomatoes, squashes, cucumbers, peppers, sweet corn, peas, onions and also sells hand made products like jams, preserves and jellies along with their signature sauces and raw honey. The farm itself is loved for its visitor-friendly operation. You can walk around the plants and choose the produce for yourself. If you love the simple life and appreciate good, healthy food, a visit here is a no-brainer.
