In 1950’s, the idea of entertainment in Wichita reached a new height and hence the Cotillion Ballroom was opened in 1960 with a capacity to seat 2000 people. The ballroom has an area of 28,500 square feet and has a circular design with a large dome supported on wooden beams. The floating dance floor is made from maple and covers an area of 11,000 square feet.
Today, the building hosts concerts, dance shows, stand up comedy shows and roller derby and has been the venue for some of the most popular artists around the world. Travelling musicians are a highlight of the place and along with the decent acoustics of the ballroom, it has become a prime spot to catch live indie bands perform.

The Cotillion Ballroom Reviews & Ratings
We love The Cotillion. The sound is always great. The event staff are fantastic. They help you with any questions and they are fast at the bar. The people at the show are there for one thing, having a good time. I have never seen any trouble at any show. Go to The Cotillion, you will be entertained.
Clean and friendly place to see a show. The audio quality was good. The bar could use some better options!
A great venue for live music! Its nice and small which makes the shows feel bigger. The smoking area can get pretty packed. Still my favorite pace to see a show in Wichita.
Great venue for concerts. Never too far from stage here. A day to remember was epic in concert. Plenty of bars around the outskirts of the concert hall.
Love the place. It's spacious even though it doesn't look like it. Great acoustics due to the dome design and I have never had a bad concert experience here. Friendly people and stiff drinks.
