Feel like the king of the world when you visit the Mohneseeturm in Germany. When you are at the height of six meters above the ground and all that you can see are the picturesque views of the forests and the cities surrounding the tower, you are bound to feel overwhelmed by the sheer beauty of the place. This observation tower is about 326 meters above the sea level and it definitely makes sure that you realize the height that you are at with the views that are so distant. Nothing but bliss is the experience from this point and height.

Mohnesee-turm Reviews & Ratings
You get a lovely view of Zoest, Möhnesse and the lake during summer its is a very lovely view and best of all the stairs are not steep, there is a break midway to let people catch their breath if they tired or have health conditions making it easier for all types and of ages to get to the top .Located in the woods and gives quite a lovely forest like walk to get to it so it could provide a romantic walk for some, peaceful jogging for some all in all it is quite beautiful and a site to try out if one is ever near the Lake.
Peacefull place to chill at night! Never been here at daytime...
Leaving your car in the parking lot is the first step of this beautiful scenic tour, and it's also the only reason why this is not at 5 star review, not only do they charge you 1€ an hour, but it appears to be a German tradition to place fried food joints everywhere, even in the middle of the forest... Hansel and Gretel are not going to get lost in this one, no breadcrumbs needed, just follow the scent of deep fried junk... But, as soon as you walk 500m you start to get enveloped by trees and green as you start your ascent towards the focal point of this review, a 40m tall tower, shaped like a lighthouse that you have to climb via staircase. People suffering with vertigo BEWARE!! The staircase is mesh styled, and the sides are open, for me it was fun, the wife stayed back though... The view from the top is amazing and well worth the climb.
