  1. Saint Elizabeth Church
    the Russian Orthodox Church of Saint Elizabeth was built on the Neroberg from 1847 to 1855 by Duke Adolf of Nassau on the occasion of the early death of his wife Elizabeth Mikhailovna. The architect was Philipp Hoffmann. It is the only Russian Orthodox Church in Wiesbaden.

    The food here is absolutely amazing.  Nice steak and sides with several good wines. The grounds are absolutely stunning with gorgeous flowers and trees everywhere. One can walk around after their meal and visited the horse stables. The restaurant has first class service and food at a decent price.

    If you love Greek food or want to try it for the first time, this is the place to go. The food is always delicious and the staff is very friendly. The location is nice, quiet neighbourhood. The mixed grill is huge, and delicious.

    The monumental Neo-Classical Kurhaus ("spa house") was built at the request of Kaiser Wilhelm II between 1904 and 1907. Its famous Spielbank (casino) is again in operation. In front of the Kurhaus is a lawn known as the bowling green. One side of the bowling green is the Kurhaus Kolonnade and other side is the Theater Kolonnade.

    • There aren't many options to choose from when it comes to skiing near Wiesbaden. You can consider visiting Skilift Oberreifenbergan der Jugendherberge ( 49 6171 507817) that is less than an hour away from the city. 

       
      Skilifteam Engländer ( 49 6021 51742) is another ski resort in Heigenbrücken that is around 90 kilometers away. 
       
      You will have a great time at WSV Salzburger Kopf e.V. - Skilift, Snowtube und Langlaufim Westerwald ( 49 2667 333). It is located in Stein-Neukirch and is 81 kilometers away. You will find a couple of other skiing places around here as well.
