Nestled in the Mount Holyoke Range State Park, the Notch Visitor Center offers fantastic opportunity to learn about the history of the place and explore the array of nature trails that run through. At the visitors center you will find the interesting displays of the dinosaur fossils, ones, footprints, a number of taxidermies of animals and an extensive history of the Notch along with the Mountains during the Civil War. An interpreter of the park will accompany you through the exhibits and also provide you the trail maps, information about the trails you can access and so on. The interpreter will also lead you to the trails that they access during the respective seasons. Throughout the hike, you will learn about the geology, flora and fauna of the place.
