  • As an English tourist I found the whole tour of the siege of Petersburg fantastic! I love history, so I highly recommend anyone into their history regardless what era, to do the battlefield tour. I did it on my own. However, all the guys and girls at each visitor center where polite, friendly and extremely helpful. Typical of southern hospitality. Along the route is interesting information about each site and how it contributed to the siege. It gives you a good minds eye.

  • This place is great. I love it. Unfortunately I feel upset that the walkways are being replaced rather then then the destroyed brick shack prior to entering the visitor center, or the signs around the battlefield. One of the signs at the crater is completely torn apart from the crows and birds picking at it. Some of the voice activated signs don’t work at all either. The walkways were fine and I didn’t see any problem in them. I just wish they have better planning in allocating money then new sidewalks. The back portion to seeing the dictator has been blocked off for some time and I do not believe they will finish it before the year.

  • 9.55 on a 10 scale. Utterly fantastic. Best viewed after the Visitors Center.

  • Nice walk. Interesting lecture. Visited with Beyond Band of Brothers tour.

  • Great place to hike. Movie and museum were nice too.
