A great tour to take if you like to be spooked! Learn about the legends and the ghost stories of Colonial Williamsburg. These are two tours that are available:

The dead of night tour: Meets at Cheese Shop in Merchants Square, 410 W. Duke of Gloucester Street

• Features costumed tour guides who talk about the most recent accounts of ghostly encounters.
• This is not a historical tour. No props are used.

The witches of Williamsburg tour: Meets on the cul-de-sac in front of the Capitol building, East End of Duke of Gloucester Street

• You get to visit the jails where accused witches spent their days.
• You will also see the gallows where the infamous pirate Blackbeard’s crew was hanged.

• All tours last around 1 hour.
• You need to arrive 10 minutes prior to the tour so that you can sign in.
• You can get your cameras.
• Dress for the weather.
• Anyone who arrives intoxicated to the tour will have to forfeit their ticket.
• Tours even operate during inclement weather.
• No refunds, exchanges or rescheduling are allowed.
• Each tour must have at least 8 guests or it will be rescheduled.

• You cannot buy the ticket for the witch tour online. For combination tickets and the witch tour tickets, call +1 757-784-6213.

• The witch tour is only available on Friday and Saturday at 9.30 pm.
• June through August, the dead of night tour meets at 9:00 PM, witches tour at 10:30 pm.

• Bus: No 2, 5, 8, 13 stop N Boundary St + Colonial Williamsburg Merchants Square.
