Thomas T. Taber Museum Reviews & Ratings
Spent several hours going through the museum including a room full of needlework from as far back as 1760! Most were done by young girls from age 8 - 15...they managed to create some very intricate and beautiful designs. Lots of other things in the museum were of great interest and I spent a good deal of time looking at everything. The room full of trains was amazing!! Well worth the cost of admission.
I have been here several times. I've also attended a workshop here as well. I brought my little brother here as a treat & he was thrilled to see all the trains. It's a great little museum! Not to overwhelming for young ones. I hope to visit again soon!
Very clean and each setting/prop has great history of the era's of the surrounding areas. Thankful that it is a place to go see local history. Recommended to all
Really neat place with alit of artifacts and history about the Williamsport area. The electric train collection is also very impressive. I would recommend this to a friend.
This museum makes excellent use of its space, displaying many items throughout the building in chronological and topical orders. This museum spoiled me, because some museums I have visited after this feel too empty in comparison with more space than items and artifacts. Also has a super model train collection (even some you can watch run the track) young and old will appreciate.
