Also famous as Camp Drum, the Drum Barracks Civil War Museum is a historic monument and museum and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places apart from being a designated Los Angeles Historic Cultural Monument and a California Historic Landmark. Some exhibits at the museum include a Gatling gun, square piano, 34-star flag, and Dunbar autograph book. Public and school tours are organized to the museum and the museum shop on-site offers various items related to the war including books, postcards, jewelry, mugs, keychains and a lot more. Many events are also hosted here like book meetings and roundtables providing those interested with fascinating information about the war.
