Wimberley Valley Winery, Wimberley Reviews - Write a Review
Beautiful spot! The blackberry wine was incredible, and I normally don't care for sweet wine. The service we received was less then mediocre, which is a shame because all around us seemed to be friendly knowledgeable staff. We just didn't get the best wine tasting server. Had we this review would receive higher stars.
We had pretty mediocre service here and didn't really enjoy the wine. It's all very sweet so if that's your thing it may be worth a visit at off-hours. We went in the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday for a tasting, which I'm sure affected our service. We had three or four people pass us along for our tastings and kept being asked "who helped you." We didn't know what to say because kind of everyone? Kind of no one? Took a while to get someone's attention so we could pay and leave. However, it looked like others there at the same time got great service. I'm chalking it up to a busy time to visit because everyone was very nice. The facility looks very upscale and trendy and so does the staff. However, the grapes aren't local which we liked less than other wineries in the area. I preferred the wines they imported over the ones made there. The plum wine was worth a taste, though! So overall, it's alright. Wouldn't go out of my way to go again
My wife and I visited on Labor Day when there were not a lot of people there. That allowed us the chance to explore and relax for a few wonderful hours. The staff is professional, attentive, and polite and the vibe is very upscale Hill Country inside and casual/laid back Hill Country outside. That's makes for a very nice combination.
Absolutely lovely place to enjoy great wine w imported grapes. Definitely try the reserve white and red wines and enjoy the tranquil beauty of nature out back. Ps you can also pet the ponies 🤓
Highly recommend this place if you love wine. Very relaxed crowd. Great tasting wine! Knowledgeable staff greeted us at the door and made sure we were taken care of. TRY THE WATERMELON 🍉 MOSCATO..!!! We will be back😎
