Very good to see the place where "Operation Dynamo" (the evacuation of British, a some other, forces from Dunkirk in 1940) was managed. The audio/video and guides were ok/adequate. I am not sure this was the only/best reason to see this Castle area. It's a very confusing structure and it's useful to realize this was only one portion, one purpose and a couple of years during the 1000 year history of a massive castle above the Cliffs of Dover.
Highly recommend. The story of Dover and the Dunkirk evacuation are amazing real life miracles. It was a somewhat harrowing but informative and even inspirational tour through the tunnels.
Really great tourist attraction at Dover castle. Sometimes there can be a queue but worth the wait. Catch the land train back to the keep at the end.
Brilliant place. I highly recommend if like me you love world war history.
Really good attraction, you need to wait some time on busy days. A notice board at the top of the castle would be nice so you don't have to walk all the way down the hill to find it's a 1hr wait. Great bit of history. No photos added because no photos can be taken inside.
