Windham Tourism

First settled in around 1780, Windham is a small town in Greene County, New York, United States. The total population of the place was about 1,700 (as of the 2020 census). Nicknamed "Land in the Sky" and "Gem of the Catskills," most of its earliest settlers came from the state of Windham, Connecticut, and specific parts of New England, Connecticut. According to the US Central Bureau, the town covers a total area of 45.4 square miles and experiences a moderate climate throughout the year. This area's primary source of income is from the Windham Mountain Ski Resort, formerly known as "Ski Windham." some famous locations and communities in Windham include Batavia Kill, Brooksburg, Hensonville, Nauvoo, Maplecrest, etc. Additionally, the town appeared in one of Netflix's original TV shows, known as Daredevil, which significantly increased the town's popularity.
