The Forks National Historic Site, Winnipeg Reviews
The place to visit in downtown Winnipeg, this location beautifully located along the two rivers that meet in the area offers a little bit of everything. There is history, scenery, art, recreation, shopping, food, museums, and other points of interest. The entire area is quiet accessible and is very walkable. Great views of the river and the downtown skyline. Good food offerings. Close walk to the bridge across the river for more sightseeing.
There is always something great going on at the Forks! Not a fan of "The Common" I don't believe alcohol needs to be served in such an open setting.
There's a lot of stuff to do here and it's for sure a good place to visit for a day out. I'd advise everyone to bring a decent bit of cash though; everything runs upwards in price. Boat ride is definitely worth it though!
This is 2md time in Winnipeg and everytime I go I enjoy going to The Forks. It's a great place for families and friends, no matter what season.
I love The Forks. It is a must see for tourists in our city. Nice playground, splash pad, and always something new to see. A good place to go for walks with the kids.
