A unit of the Wisconsin state park system, Flambeau River State Forest is a beautiful location occupying an area of about 90,147 areas and surrounded by 75 miles of Flambeau river. The place offers musky, bass, sturgeon, trout, panfish and walleye for fishing. The forest is also open to public hunting offering wildlife like deer, bear, grouse, waterfowl and various other animals. Canoeing and paddling facilities are also available on the river amidst the picturesque views of the forest.
