It is the rustic appearance of the place which leaves the tourists startled. The activities which you can enjoy here are hiking, boating, angling, and obviously camping. Picacho State Recreation Area Reviews & Ratings
Absolutely an amazing experience on the water, clean and we'll structured river ...thank you AZ.
Picacho is a nice place on the colorado river, the campground is confortable, there are showers of solar energy and enjoyed the Stewart Trail, where you can to identify plants, and in the beggin there are a plants guide that you can to bring with you and look in the trail- you can return in the number 15 if dont have walk much but if you continue you will finish much in the south. I knowed Taylor Lake but i preffer the principal campground for this day. The night is very interesant, i saw bats on the river because they was eating mosquitos and the wild burros-donkeys are very active and they did much sounds. I can't slept very well because isn't a good time, it was very hot, but I hope to return in Octubre 😁
Very nice park had a lot of fun when we were there at the park. Beautiful sights
We had a blast volunteering with Friends 4 Picacho fixing and maintaining the camp grounds and camping out over night.
It's a nice place to have lunch and use the restrooms when you are boating on the river. Getting there by land involves some rough roads.
