Wattamolla Beach - Review
The Wattamolla beach is situated two kilometres south of Marley and is backed by the narrow 500 m long Wattamolla Lagoon. This lagoon is fed by Wattamolla and Coole creeks and bordered by steep valley sides, with the lagoon breaking out across the southern corner of the beach. This beach is considered to be one of the best places in Australia to swim as it remains relatively quiet under normal low wave conditions. The lagoon looks stunning with its blue waters that remain quaint and offer a beautiful oceanic sight. There is also a picnic area that is annexed to this beach where you can have multiple options to entertain yourself and your kids.

Wattamolla Beach, Wollongong Reviews
Nice place, but avoid being there during the peak season in Summer. The crowds and the kids playing make it look like an aquatic amusement park. If you manage to visit when it’s less crowded, you’ll love it
Great quiet beach with clear water and clean sand. You also jump of a cliff with a small running water stream on the side. Many people come in to jump off the cliff. Can have nice family picnic or a quick stop on a riding or driving day in and around Royal National Park.
Absolutely love this place. It's one the best locations in Sydney. One thing if you want parking you have to get there early.
National Parks have done great job with board walks along most the way to Little Marley beach.
What a spot! Hard to get to via public transport and parking is very limited so try and avoid busy days. There is a cracking beach and an inlet that’s great for kids. A decent sized jump-rock for the whippersnappers too. The only downside is that it’s a bit of a walk down there so quite a few lazy grubs leave their rubbish behind and there is a lot of litter at the end of the day. Try and take some with you to keep Australia beautiful. Even if it’s not yours.
