Lakewood Park Reviews & Ratings

  • Great place to let kids run. It could use some play things, like seesaws, merry-go-round, etc. There is a very nice area with picnic tables for groups, or birthday parties, with a large area with grills. We visit here often. There is also a police run to make sure everything stays friendly! Well worth a visit if you have never been before.

  • I have came to this place since i was a kid (1990s) back then u could fish n the pond.... My grandmother would take My self and my younger sister... Great memories..... Then on 4-20-16 i got married.... No-one in town would marry my wife and I... My close friends daughter got ordained, and did the ceremony... It was beautiful the bushes where in bloom we did everything under the shelter bout 20 people and everything was perfect.... I will always visit this place when i come home to visit.....

  • Clean bathroom, pretty pond, lots of play equipment and plenty of space. We stopped here on a road trip to stretch our legs and let the kids run. They loved seeing the ducks.

  • Awesome nature/play park. There are trails, short and long, two play grounds that are shaded most of the day. Nice size pond from a natural creek and plenty of ducks and geese to feed. Two picknick shelters and a gazebo over the pond. It's a 5 minute drive from any store but in a nice quite neighborhood. Worth getting directions from Google Maps to enjoy your day.

  • We have visited 2 times here in the last year and we love it. They have multiple playgrounds surrounding a small pond typically with a few dozen ducks or so. They have a nice pavilion area with a restroom setup as well. Had a buddy's kiddos birthday party on the pavilion, sat on the lounge swings in front of the pond and had a relaxing time. Worth a drive to relax or kill some time with the kiddos.
