  • It took a little bit of finding. It's accessed down a bridle path between two houses on a bend on a narrow lane. There is nothing to say it leads to the church. I passed it twice and only found it on my 3rd drive by when a lady with her cycle came through the gate and was able to tell me I needed to park up and walk the rest of the way. Easier said than done as no-where to pull off only by some logs which were roped off. It was well worth the effort. I went to look at the octagonal tower which is uneven. The only other octagonal tower I know of is the one on Ely Catheral. That's well worth a visit as is Ely itself.

  • Fascinating building of significant local importance and its association with both Kingswood Abbey and Newark Park.

  • In a beautiful and peaceful setting in a round churchyard this church has an amazing octagonal tower. The church is very close to Newark Park and can easily be added to a visit there. You can navigate to the Ozleworth by following signs for 'Historic Church' and for Newark Park nearby. By car, park outside the Ozleworth Estate, near to the gates, and follow a long bridle path downhill and around to the left until you reach the churchyard. Please note - the path can be muddy and slippery.

  • What a hidden little gem.

  • A fascinating little church - in a very ancient circular churchyard. Some lovely architectural details.
