Dollar Lake Provincial Park Reviews & Ratings
A small, but nice beach. Well maintained grounds with parking, changing rooms and bathrooms close to the beach. Definitely set up for families/children. Life guard on duty. Canteen on site. Beach is quite rocky but turns to nice sand just a bit into the water.
Overall not a bad experience! The tent sites are nice and private, with great swimming on site! Only downside was the approximately 10-20 massive spiders all over the shower and bathrooms. Made it really stress for me to enter that building. The bathrooms also weren't cleared of these spiders over the 3 days and 2 nights we were here.
I greatly enjoy this lake each and every summer! It's clean, cool and fairly free of sharp rocks or debris. The beach portion is wonderful, and there's plenty of seating available should you want for a place to picnic or take in a meal with a view. There's male and female restrooms and changerooms, parking, a canteen as well as a wash station to get the sand off of yourself. The bugs aren't too bad here despite it being a lake, even later on in the season. The water is fairly shallow for a good way in, and it is clean and cool. Very refreshing! I can not speak to the campground itself as I only come for the lake, but if the standards of it are up to par with the beach, I suppose it must be quite nice too. 😁
This beach is great, but busy. Parking is limited but what else you going to do? During peak season there is a rental place and if you bring cash the canteen can keep your snackies away.
Great place! Great for kids and adults, lots of room to swim and play. Sandy beach and sandy bottom under the water.
