Lower Yellowstone River Falls Reviews & Ratings
Awesome! If you can make the 3/4 mile round trip to the lookout point, you won't be disappointed. The view is amazing and is so much better than Upper Falls. Warning: the walk to the lookout is vertical. Be prepared for a fairly steep walk down, and back up, a bunch of switchbacks.
Breathtaking moments at the brink of the Lower Falls; you are literally next to the point where the drop occurs. Expansive and unobstructed views of the river and valley. This is well worth the walk down and hike up the hill for the views and overall experience! Not to be missed!!!
You need to go on a trek with 600ft elevation. It gets steeper but trust you will love it once you are there. View is awesome. Climbing back may be lil tiresome but its all worth it. I would go any miles to see the beauty of nature
Absolutely spectacular views! Be prepared for a tough downhill walk on a paved trail followed by a tougher return trip back uphill. The views from the bottom of the trail are well worth the effort.
Loved the lower falls. I went early in day at sunrise and it was spectacular and not busy at least during shoulder season. Would be nice to see at sunset.
