  • This is a must see to me. It is the biggest lake of the area and serves as a beautiful backdrop. There are many options to see the lake, in my opinion, I liked the views best from West Thumb.

  • It takes like 2 hours to drive just a part around Lake it's massive. You can get some good shots is wildlife. A lot of drivers so be careful when you park.

  • One of the most beautiful sights imaginable, with the tall peaks reflected in the lake. Elk, bison, pronghorn antelope, and a snowmaqn (and this was in August.) Boating on the lake, which is the largest freshwater lake in north America. Amazing views as you drive around it.

  • It's a huge lake and is frozen during the winter season. It truly looks like glass early morning when the wind speed is virtually zero. Looks so unreal and is really huge. Some quick facts about this lake: Max. length: 20 mi (32 km) Max. width: 15 mi (24 km) Surface area: 136 sq mi (350 km2) Average depth: 139 ft (42 m) Max. depth: 390 ft (120 m) Shore length: 110 mi (180 km) Surface elevation: 7,732 ft (2,357 m)

  • Yellowstone Lake was one of my favorite parts about Yellowstone National Park. It’s a huge lake, with very beautiful views. It reminded me of the California coast. There are lots of places to pull off along the coast with picnic tables. Some areas are thermal and you can see steam coming out on the shore.
