Yercaud’s beauty can be best admired from thePagoda Point- a place that shows you a bird’s eye view of Salem and Kakambadi surrounded by the majestic mountain peaks that are covered with a thick blanket of trees.
Even though the climb to the point is much more difficult that the Ladies’ Seat, you are left speechless by the view, by the untouched mountain air and the effortless beauty all around. Do make it a point to see the sunrise or the sunset from here.

View point is absolutely stunning.. The route to reach there is covered with coffee plantations ad keeps you rejuvenated. You need to walk for 1km to reach the view point from road. There is no food or water facility available. So you need to carry it.
Mesmerising and beautiful view of the valley. It was crowded on the day we visited since it was a weekend but that didn't deter us from enjoying the view. Also, if you're interested; ATV rides are offered at this point.
There was no one where we went there for sunrise, it was amazing to see the view and wind gushing as well as birds chirping and all... Spent an hour here, loved it.
Beautiful point to gaze at the mountains and get mesmerized by the horizon. Make sure that u reach early morning to see the foggy mountains and the breathtaking sunrise. If you miss the morning time (before 6.30am or 7) then don't visit this place as it may not be that spectacular..
This is one of the beautiful place i had ever seen. Really beatuful. Nature magic ❤
