Shevaroy Temple - Review
Located on top of the Shevaroy mountain, the Shevaroy Temple is home to the main idols of Lord Shevaroyan and Goddess Kaveri. Visit the temple to pray and don’t forget to take a few minutes to admire the view of Yercaud and Nagalurfrom here as well. The hike to the top is just as relaxing.

Shevaroy Temple, Yercaud Reviews
The ride up is stunning! Lush green forest on either side. Rather desolate once you reach the top. There are some windswept 'shops' and the views are simply breathtaking! The air is crisp and fresh. It's a good idea to get there early as the crowds tend to spoil the tranquil ambience of the place.
Surrounding area has breathtaking views. You can also camp here at night. But it gets very cold at night and it's impossible to get any campfire going because of heavy winds. Also be careful about wild animals. We had a close encounter with a wild bison.
A temple of Vishnu that is dwelled into a rock. Huge parking space. Not best to reach here during bright sun, as you may feel that heat. Around the temple you can see the entire mountains.
The tourist spot Yercaud turns refreshingly holy at this age-old temple. An unfogettable experience awaits you when you bend your way to the ancient presiding Deity. A simple small shrine. To place not to be missed!
A temple located in the highest point of the yercaud hills. A small cave like temple with great surroundings. Nature at its best around the place. Great views. Best time to visit this place is evening. you can see clouds passing with cool breeze. Great place to enjoy with family and friends.
