On Indonesiaâs island Java, there is Borobudur, the largest Buddhist monument in the world. Constructed in the 8th and 9th centuries and abandoned around the 14th century, Borobudur was largely forgotten until it was rediscovered in 1814. It is the most visited tourist attraction in Indonesia, and is still a place of pilgrimage for Buddhists. This tour will bring you to enjoy the amazing sunrise view of Borobudur.
You will visit the most spectacular and world’s biggest Buddhist monument complex, Borobudur, built around 800 A.D. Looming out of a patchwork of bottle-green paddies and swaying palm tops, this colossal Buddhist relic is one of the continent’s marvels. Amazing old Buddhist temple surrounded with paddy field. I recommend you to visit this temple at 4 pm. Enjoy the sunset, and wait for the miracles come.
Big complex of Buddhist temples. The twin temple are unique and as beauty as Prambanan temple at the Southern area. Best visit in the morning at sunrise and more romantic at sunset on clear day.
This place is less to be known than the Borobudur temple but it's actually equally as great as the big temple ones
One of my favorite Buddhis temple in Yogyakarta. This temple also become Buddhis school and bording house from monk in the past.
Gorgeous temple in the midst of paddy field. It was nice to still witness the statue mostly a whole at the inside, though most of them are still need to revitalize again..
