North Plaosan Temple, Yogyakarta Reviews
No entrance fee, but you may donate. Better go after 3 pm until sunset cz it's so hot during the day. It's not so crowded by visitors so you can relax and enjoy the feel of countryside with beautiful twin temples surrounded by rice field and you can also see Merapi Mountains. Definitely one of the best places to enjoy sunset.
Unique temple combining elements of Hindu & Buddha. Built in 10 century to compliment the marriage of a Hindu king & Buddha queen, a harmony of unity. The complex consists of twin main temple buildings to represent the male (king) and female (queen), surrounded by smaller temples as well as a pendopo area. We hire a guide to explain the history of this temple and gain real understanding about it and really appreciate it at the end. Eventhough not as majesty as Borobudur and Prambanan, this smaller yet unique temple worth a visit.
A beautiful temple with mixed style of Buddhist and Hindu. Recommended for learning or only for picnic. The ticket price is very affordable only Rp 3000 in year 2018. The location is easy to find, only 10 minutes from Prambanan temple. This place is very clean and comfortable. A worth place to see the sunrise or sunset.
A must see in Yogyakarta. Beautiful Temple located in the middle of a village! Be prepared to have your picture taken if your are a bule! Hahaha
Beautiful sunset and beautiful history. I also love the food court near the temple that serve an amazing view in the evening.
