Sea Organ Reviews & Ratings
Very innovative architecture that makes sound with the sea waves. Recommend to go in the mornings to have a better experience. Sunset is also really beautiful. The solar panels on the floor capture energy and supply electricity to the entire water front of Zadar old town. And in the evening depending on how much energy it generated the whole day, the LED lights in solar panels perform a dance show.
Beautiful sunset listening to the sea organ. The old town near by was nice and quiet. The steps near the water was very confident to hang out and listen to the organ and people watch. Best time to go during sunset beautiful views.
Lovely atmosphere. Really nice and fun for the kids. Went in the evening around 6pm and the monument of the Sun was really awesome to see. I would definitely recommend. Went in October so wasn't too crowded.
Relaxing atmosphere. Here is the view of the island across the water while sitting on the steps and listening to the waves. I wish I had known that people do jump in and/or climb down the ladders to swim because it was a hot day, and I may have joined in. It is hard to see the resonant chambers under the cement from the steps so you basically just listen and enjoy the view. I don't know where the actual organ pipes and whistles are located. You can also wade on the last step but it is very slippery so be careful.
Beautiful, serene and melodic spot. The sea organ really makes some beautiful music. They have one of these in San Francisco Bay, (called something else) but this one emits a better melody with a lot less static and commotion and is a little mystical.
