Zagreb Tourism

Zagreb isn’t the first name in people’s lips when speaking about Croatian destinations, but that’s just unfair to this beautiful city. With a warren like maze of roads, a beautiful millennium old historical district and some really cool museums, Zagreb in the summer is inviting enough. In the winter though, this Croatian destination turns into Ski Central, a major landing spot for all those want to take on the hills and mountains nearby. And if in that endeavour they happen to accidently fall I love with the town, well that’s good for everybody.

Essential travel information and Zagreb tips for your visit

  • Don’t drive when it’s snowing.
  • Park only in permitted places or your vehicle will be towed away and it’ll cost you EUR 150.
  • The “BANG” you hear in the afternoon is a noon cannon, not a bomb.
  • Get the Zagreb Card. It costs 90 HRK and renders transportation within the city virtually free, as well as giving discounted access to most of the city’s museums.
