As far as fine art goes, this is a bit different. It’s not contemporary art either, as much as untrained art. The artists exhibited here have had no formal education in art, at least in principle. Most of them are 20th century artists and many of them are internationally famous. Still, most of the work here is a result of the artist’s own unbound creative expression and often builds on common themes like “joy, childhood and wonder”. Though it houses about 1850 items, only about 80 pieces are on display. Sometimes the museum holds exhibitions that focus on the works of a specific artist or theme. Over 10000 people visit ever year.
- There is no parking available.
- There is no proper disability access.

Intetesting little museum. Meant about anart genre that first we didn't know existed and secondly is unique to this part of Croatia.
