If one were to pick the main draw of the Greek Tourism it would certainly be it heavenly beaches sprawling all across the nation’s coast. Amidst a plethora of beaches, make sure to have the Shipwreck Beach on your list of things to do in Zakynthos. Deriving its name from the stunning shipwreck here, this beach gives you a scene straight out of a storybook! Unlike other beaches this one does not feature fine sand, this is a rather rocky beach, so wear appropriate footwear before heading here.

Shipwreck Beach Reviews & Ratings
Best beach I've been to in my life! Clean, beautiful landscape, crystal clear waters, fine white sand.. Just like in the post cards. The ship makes a great spectacle. October is a good time to visit as it's 27 degrees and there was no more than 20 people on the beach. True paradise.
it is a must if you are on this island. we rented a car and we travelled every corner on this island. it is amazing meeting with the locals in some strange small villages. it is nice from the top but also from the bottom with a ship. the colours of the water are extremely splendid. blue it is so natural from dark to light ... woww in this life we will be there for one more time
Breathtaking beach, looks even better than the pictures. I suggest setting of in the very early morning hours or evening hours, because it might get crowded. Although you need to take into consideration the position of the sun, because when we went in the evening hours, the beach was in the shade. Also, it's a pebble beach so bring your water shoes to enjoy the spot with no pain.
It is as beautiful and looks the same way you see it on the post cards. A beautiful natural phenomenon with a rusty boat in the middle, that was left there to rot and make it unique in a way I suppose. Definitely worth visiting and I advise you to take a small boat that departs early as it becomes very crowded as the morning spans.
There are multiple tours which will take you here to see the shipwreck. There is an interesting bit of history behind the boat which I will not spoil for you. Worth a visit, we used Nefis Travel and they were really good and we would use them again. The oceans around it were beautiful and the ocean lovely to swim in. Can get a bit windy though as you're in an alcove.
