Resting at the foot of the Tatra Mountain is the tiny town of Zakopane. It came into existence sometime before the 17th century, and rose into prominence as a health resort two hundred years later. There are several dance clubs and pubs where people unwind after a long day out in the wilderness or on the ski slopes. The magic of the town in winter can be explored through a sleigh pulled by the intensely adorable husky dogs or horses trained specially for the purpose.
