After the reconquest of Zaragoza in 1118, it is probably the first founded church in this city. The place is located in the heart of Zaragoza, in the most prominent location of historical layout and considered to be a great attraction for historians and history enthusiasts. Just like many other churches in the city, this one too was rebuilt due to the increase in population in the second part of the 14th century. What stands out most about this church is its large tower bell that was documented in 1356 and deemed to be amongst the best ones in Aragon completed with its diamonds décor and criss-crossed arches. The decorations that the building has including the vault and frescoes only make it stand out more, establishing it as one of the Monuments of Historical Heritage in Spain.
