Also known as the Giant of Zaragoza, this Windmill of Malanquilla is one of the few existing places in Aragon that greatly symbolises the spirit of the town. It is basically a manchego mill established in the middle of sixteenth century and is popular for its extraordinary dimensions. The mill is about 21.20 meters high and is probably the largest mill in the world. Many even call it as the father of the windmills of Spain. The place has been neglected for a long time during the wars but was reconstructed later with the other structures in the city. It saw its reformation in 1981 in the hands of great technicians like La Mancha. It is a stone built structure that has been painted white after its restoration and has two doors for tourists. It is located in a hillock, about 300 meters from the town centre hence make sure you have your own vehicle to reach there.
